Was itching to get out on the new bike but have to stay sensible and allow my knee time to recover properly.
At this time I don’t know if it’s going to be in good enough shape for the 100K Audax next Saturday. Fingers crossed!

The Equilibrium felt fantastic – really comfortable, and i just wanted to keep riding but had to keep the loop short.

As you can see the pace was very slow (average 128bpm HR), constantly mindful of not putting the knee under too much strain.
Even at this snail pace, the average was 21km/h so well above the 15km/h minimum needed to complete the Audax in the time window.

26.60 km in 1h:15m:57s using Endomondo.
